Meditation
Brother Theophyle is complaining. He says to Rabbit, “I've decided that meditation is for the birds. I mean, no matter how hard I try, how often I try, how valiantly I try, I can't stop the endless flow of thoughts in my mind. It's hopeless!”
Rabbit responds, “Why don't you quit?”
In the next panel, Theophyle asks, ”You mean quit meditation?”
Rabbit replies, “No. Quit trying”.
There is a small flock of sparrows in the cartoon. One asks, “Did he say 'for the birds'?” to which another wonders, “Yea, what's that supposed to mean?”
