"Contemplative Retreat" by Franz Jalics

Other than many other religious books, this one is about practice and experience.
Though I have to admit that few people change their lives because of a book, this one has a potential
to bring you to the point because it is not about understanding something by reading but about experience by exercising.
Franz Jalics teaches by listening - as humble as he is, as much he is a true master.
There is no other book with a comparable concept that I know of - and fortunately it is now also available in english.
